Never fails to amaze me when it comes to deliveries. If I order things months apart, sometimes they are backordered or maybe they are only available on preorder...no matter when I ordered them they all seem to arrive at the same time! For instance, today. I noted that the rocking musical elephant I ordered for Nicholas for Christmas was on a Fed Ex truck to be delivered. Everything else was in transit from Minnesota still. Almost everything seems to come through Minneapolis. If I die, they ship me back to Heaven that way...or the other place...depends on how naughty or good I have been. Hmm....Heaven sounds like Santa's Fun Palace?
Back to the Christmas gifties. I see this Fed Ex truck circle the block like 3 times, I was like...well maybe they are looking for me? I mean the Pizza guy can't find my house, who says the Fed Ex guy is better? So I went out and asked him, well he was for across the street. Dang....no riding musical pachyderm. I wander inside to check to see if the joyous pachyderm has been delivered elsewhere...like oh I don't know...across the street? Before I can even get to the Fed Ex page, there is a knock. It is not the Fed Ex guy, it is the UPS lady. She has my other Christmas goodies, Casio electronic piano and some stuff from ToysRUS for me. Mind you, these should still be in transit from Minneapolis, not on my doorstep.
I have now given up on the happy pachyderm and am busy unpacking and playing with the Piano. Sure it is for Christmas but we need to know if it works and Nicky needs to get started on it promptly! Then I glance up out he windows and another Fed Ex truck has arrived and yes, they bring the pachyderm.
Baby OCD on the Casio piano and then fell asleep! Dr. Bunny on the other hand is beside herself with joy as she has more boxes then she knows to sit in. This is kinda of like when the Crib was delivered but these are multi box heaven world. Hmm...maybe I should have them direct me from Minneapolis to Box Heaven after I die, seems to make Dr. Bunny happy!
(on a special note: The UPS Delivery Lady is awesome! The Casio Piano box looked like it had been sat on by a Pachyderm, she insisted we open to make sure it was not destroyed before she left. Way to go UPS lady, way to go above the call of duty!)
