Christmas came early!

The one thing I despise about the US is our obsession with corn syrup, it is in every dang thing! I think they inject in carrots now, or atleast that is the rumor I will start.

Yesterday, I went to the store to gather goods for the December feast day. I could have gone today but we are scheduled for a winter blizzard and purchasing food in the middle of a blizzard is no big deal...it is the driving in it that bothers me! I am in the realm of Central Market and there on one of those display ends was a whole stack of Mountain Dew throwback and Dr. Pepper. All for a limited time only, all made with "REAL" sugar and none of that hideous gut wrenching corn syrup. It is like traveling out of the US without paying the travel costs! Vacations at grocery stores, so very cheap.
