VH1 rises to a new low...

Went to the attic last night (this should not be confused with Dollhouse's Attic) to catch a bit of mindless brain death. Lucky for me VH1 has set it standards low this year, very low. Apparently, their New Years resolution is to offer the most mind-numbing awful reality television possible. Seriously, this surpasses E's Leaving it to Lamas (or as I call it, what to do with washed up stars and their families) in lowness.

The show in question is Frank the Entertainer in a basement affair. For those of you who do not know Frank, he acquire sudo-fame in I Love New York, I love Money, and think he was in an episode of "STD Central!" The synopsis for the show is Frank, and unmotivated loser, lives in his parents basement and wants to meet a woman. First the woman meet Mommy, Daddy, and Frank. The women gush how fantastic Frank is...say what? Guy living in Mommy and Daddy's basement to unmotivated to move out is fantastic? Really? They also think Frank is one hot piece of ass...yea I say not. These women either must be entirely painfully desperate or all need green cards.

I can't say I watched the entire show as I wandered off to play with baby and restore my brain cells. A few aspects that did catch my attention was the tack board that Frank keeps under his bed with all these lovely ladies photos on it for elimination and that at the end of the episode they get a basement key....what! A basement key? Holy crap, I dated Patrick for several years and never got a basement key, gosh I feel that I have missed out on life.

This leaves me to wonder if the networks are punking us? They are trying to come up with the most painfully horrid poorly scripted reality shows...seriously Flying Monkeys could come up with better entertainment just by hurling their poop at us...to see who will watch it and for how long. Ah ha, I shall stick it to the networks and their sucky reality shows and immerse myself in the world of Dr. Who, thank goodness for DVDs.
