So far the household beasts have been pretty chill about the baby. This last week though, Nick grabbed Isis's tail and held on. She turned and gave him the sort of look that would freeze most humans to stone, but he just laughed and let go. Along with the grabbing, he is working on crawling. He has the moving of the back-end part down but once he coordinates the front-end, the household keepers of annoyance and all sorts of puke nasty, will get new tiny religions. The biggest feat is when little Nick's feet finally touch the floor and he can skitter along in his Volkswagen. Then and only then, I shall roll up the carpets and watch the chaos ensue.
