14 days!

14 days till the Cup!
Was on the Eiffel tower in Vegas in during March and I met a couple lovely British boys.  Of course my first question was about the Cup and then who they supported football club/team did they support in England.  Well, they said Chelsey...poo poo.  I don't do Chelsey.  Their follow comment to me was, "we didn't think Americans were into Football and the Cup..."  Regretfully, yes.  Every 4 years, one of the greatest events occurs, the World Cup,  bringing countries and peoples together..   Football/Soccer is one of the greatest most universal sports of all time!  I am not certain what "American Football" is but guys in padding running around carrying a ball, not Football...really not.  I am not impressed.

Am raising Nick to appreciate one of the greatest sports in the world!  Well ok, right, now he is into tasting various elements of Football...but soon he will he kicking it back to mommy and daddy :-)
