all about eyes...

Every evening, when Nick takes is last feeding, he is getting into the habit of wanting lay inches from my face while staring directly into my eyes, without blinking, while sucking down his bottle.  The boy has these surreal piercing blue eyes.  When he is staring into mine, it feels like he can read my soul.  Frequently he will combine this staring with patting my face and attempting to detach my nose and ears from my head.  I must say, I do so much enjoy these brief moments!  I know someday, the only place he will want to be is in some distant location doing something amazing and I will miss his eyes!

None of us are immune to the lure of Nick's adorableness and his amazing eyes!  The full realization hit me while on vacation and random people would stop on the street and gasp "he is adorable, he as the most wondrous eyes!"  He gets his amazing looks from his Daddy and his wondrous eyes from Mommy.
