Been a busy couple weeks, that involved a "much needed" vacation to parts of the world that have large bodies of water, mountains, and extensive ethnic diversity. Basically the boys and I headed to South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. There are many mysteries in the universe:
- Did aliens build the pyramids? (apparently the History channel thinks so and since they have run out of History now report on possible alien visitation to earth.)
- Were do half of my socks vanish to?
- Why does Dr. Bunny love the most stinky dog in the house, Max?
- Most importantly, what is with Nick's soothers (Nuks)...whatever you call them...
Sometimes there are lots of them, soothers, and then none. It is like they vanish into their environment, which is not that difficult to do in our house amongst the toys, cats, and other various elements. Sometimes I give Nick a soother, and I turn around and look a few minutes later and he has a different soother. I don't know were his original soother went and I certainly don't know were he got this current, most likely filthy one, from. Then there are times I put him on the floor and moment later he has gotten an unknown soother, what does the kid have pockets? He didn't start out with a soother, now he has one?!
I have started to consider that the baby soother has a life of their own. That the soother might actually be alive. Maybe the soothers of the earth, are from an alien world, come to comfort our babies oral cavities and build the pyramids? Hmmm, me thinks this could be a subject for the History Channel.
