off the grid

Went on vacation a week or so ago.  When Patrick and I vacation we go off the grid.  We leave most of our internetz based technology in the home environment or the office.  Since both of our jobs require so much internetz connecting, manipulation, and maintenance....taking our laptops on vacation just will not do.  So we go "off the tech" grid.  With the exception of our cell phones.  Our cell phones keep us connected to family and the house sitter.  We always enjoy updates that Isis has bagged another bunch of baby bunnies, put them in her own version of Guantanamo Bay, and is busy water boarding them. 

Getting disconnected from the constant internetzy deluge that infests our lives saves our sanity. 

Talking about Isis, yep...she has moved from baby bunnies to adolescent bunnies.  I can't support her elimination techniques.  She is a supporter of torture much like our previous president Bush.  Maybe I will ship her to him, he could learn some things from her demented torture stylins that only a cat can serve up.
