Went to Lowes for some baby household safety devices. My first thought was to wrap nick in bubble wrap and stick a helmet on him until he was like 47 but I now decided that is not the best plan. The 2nd plan included a gate for the stairwell, outlet covers, and other random devices to make sure things can not be crossed or opened. Most of the items I needed were inhabiting the Lowes store. Were? I did not know. Patrice found me wandering about and brought a cart, helped me load it, and then unload into my car. Once again, a Lowes employee went above the call of duty to make sure I had the things I needed!
After successfully assembling Nick's Little Tykes Castle, I was more then confident I could install a baby gate at the bottom of the stairwell, apparently I am not an idiot savant when it comes to installing baby gates, so I tried to mentally consume the directions. I also failed miserably at this as well. Had to call in our handyman Chris Harper "Harper's Home Repair." I swear this guy is gilded in gold!
After giving up on the baby gate, I went out to bask in the pool and play with Nick. Pools, warm days, and Baby Boo always makes a perfect weekend!
