Yesterday, Nick and headed down to the park for some Hula Hoop lovin' and hanging out. Nick loved it, he was to little to Hula Hoop but I guarantee you, when he gets old enough he will be doing this like a pro!
I was about a half a block from the house when I heard something screaming. As I got closer to our house, the noise got louder. It was then when I saw Isis charging over our six foot high fence with a furry parcel. The poor baby Bunny. Nick and were stuck at a light waiting to cross, so I did the only logical thing I could think of...I yelled "Drop the Bunny!!!" Needless to say, Isis looked at me and then vanished into the yard with her new found best pal to torture the baby. The only thing I accomplished by this was making vehicle drivers, who had their windows open, all turn and stare at me.
It is always good to let the neighborhood know that you are cracked in the skull. Next time I run around my jammies looking for Friday, this will just seem so normal to them.
Eventually I did get across the street and went directly into the yard and took the Bunny from her. Isis has already cleaned out several nests and I couldn't handle listening to her torture the poor thing all evening. Apparently the Bunny recovered, as when I returned to the turtle cage, were I had temporarily put the poor thing...the Bunny had left.
