I don't need no stinkin' helmet...

Summer is when the motorcyclists are released on the roads in my area.  So we have to be extra careful when driving anywhere to make sure we don't damage any of them.  Of course this is difficult when a motorcyclist is passing you on the wrong side and dodging in and out of traffic.  Swell buddy.

For some reason, the ND got rid of their "helmet law" for motorcyclists.  Now I know, "oh my" we can't have the government poking into our business!!  I kinda of see the helmet as seat-belt.  You wear a seat-belt, you are required to wear one, if you are lucky, it may never have to save your life.  Same for a helmet and a motorcycle.  Had a friend's brother end up loosing control on his bike out in Oregon.  The brother survived only cuz he was wearing his helmet.  If he had no helmet on, he would be somewhat dead-like.

We have already had several articles in our local paper that go something like this..."Man dies in motorcycle accident .....  was not wearing a helmet."  Anyone riding a motorcycle, minus helmet, is an idiot.  Put it on or get off the road.  And "Mr. no-t-shirt - wearing sandals - no helmet, dodging in an out of traffic the other day" you are an idiot and make the other motorcyclists look bad.  Then there was the motorcyclist I saw stopped at light texting, umm green light?!  Thanks bud...we enjoyed sitting behind you.
