I love summer. It is warm, I can have naked feet, naked arms, naked head, and I no longer worry that I might lose my soft outer parts to frost bite. On the negative side, the carnage is just horrid! As I have posted oodles of times before, Isis keeps herself very busy eliminating the poor helpless creatures that can't out run her tiny little annoying feline self. Yesterday, we came home to a dead bird and fairly large deceased bunny in the enclosed yard. It is not enough she captures, tortures them, and then leaves them. Isis seems to think it is her destiny to take all creatures over the 6 foot high fence into yard. I am certain anyone driving buy and has a moment to glance a cat scaling a fence dragging a bunny behind probably does a bit of a double take.
Am kinda of looking forward to winter now, no more dead things. Of course it will be so cold I will loose all feeling in my extremities but I can go into the yard and not find myself captured in the midst of a death throws of a poor innocent bunny.
