Lindsey is going to prison for a few weeks to 90 days. Probably a few weeks. Haven't really payed attention since her first drunk driving arrest, all I know is she has been up, down, around, and arrested again and apparently at some point went to France.
Being that most of America was glued to their television watching little Lindsey cry her eyes out in court, I had to google and watch this wondrous piece of photographic footage. Even Matt Seitz from Salon.com reminded us in his recent article "Lohan director explains why we hate Lindsey..." well basically why we hate her and why we cling to our monitors to catch any glimpse of her face while she continues to fail downward. "Wilder has become Lohan's most vocal defender, publicly attacking Revel's motives, excoriating the tabloid media that have been tailing Lohan for years, and blasting the public for treating her troubles as entertainment." Sorry Wilder, anyone that is that cute when crying and sliding backwards down the drain of life can't avoid not being entertainment.
I do feel sorry for Lindsey, she has lots of issues, and her family seem to be tripping on something themselves. Of course any average intelligent US citizen knows if the court system tells you to get your bum into meetings once a week or go to prison, you say "how high" and jump! If you don't the next thing you know, you are sharing a smallish room with your new girlfriend.
Since according to Wilder the tabloids have been turning Lindsey's sordid life into some evil entertainment spectrum for us and our tiny minds. Things could go further! Lindsey, instead of showing up to prison could make a run for it, disguising herself as someone know one really wants around, then in a dreadful bit of fate Dog the Bounty Hunter pursues her. If Dog was chasing her, I might actually start watching his show!
Finally, the random news reporting people say that the California prisons are crowded or something. Lindsey may only get like 3 weeks and be released. Instead of chucking this girlie in prison, we should send her to the Gulf to help clean up the Oil Spill, and then offer live coverage of her working. Then we could see her crying and covered in goo!
In the end, the prison sentence is all good for Lindsey. She will have something in common with her father and thus a perfect conversation starter for those family dinners she does not attend.
