- Lots of Nick time!
- Found an ancient typewriter, 1920's Smith & Corona at a rummage sale and now it inhabits my office. Sure, it is ancient tech but having something with so much dust catching potential hanging out in knowledge realm really adds to my level of "stuffy freaky librarian nerdism." This is a pre-war piece of awesome! After I picked it up and Patrick informed me "you are not carrying that thing home, get the car..." I began to wonder why we dropped bombs on people during the war? A few of these bad boy typewriters out any plane window and I am sure any country, including Germany would have surrendered, quickly.
- Bagged some awesome toys at one of our various garage sales. Some Nick appreciates now, others he can have after he gets over the "eating everything" stage.
- Several various walks, one that included a brief stroll to the Dairy Queen! Were we shared a communal ice cream cone. (less calories that way...more germs)
- Was a bit bummed that Spain took the World Cup as I was emotionally backing the Netherlands, since both Africa and Germany had been slapped silly and out.
- Am pretty certain Isis went the entire weekend with out murdering anything!!!
- Got my fantastic culinary skills on by cooking up Mac & Cheese and Spaghetti.
- Patrick gave me some amazing beautiful pink flowers....now just to keep Dr. Bunny from eating them.
In future plans:
I turn even more ancient this week...."sigh." I always get slightly depressed about b-day time, as for some reason during my 20's, I never thought I would get this horribly old. Now were is my walker?
