Kurzweil is only saying the same thing that Philip K Dick and the others have been telling us for years....
Back in 2000 I did one of my major grad projects on AI , the future, and Kurzweil. A little odd for a Library masters, at the time, but very future thinking oriented. Needless to say my instructor thought I would be working at some high-end progressive technology future oriented facility after grad school.
