Goodbye the King of SMC....

Tom Bosley died at 83.  Watched Tom in Father Dowling Mysteries and of course Happy Days. Most memorable, are his later years, and late night television.  When Tom would get on and be the King of SMC.  Tom was a true visionary, showing us random objects, like wooden Palm Trees and saying things like, "buy this for $2.35 and resell it for $27 dollars!"  Stuck in the early morning hours buried in a bucket of popcorn, I would respond..."Wow! That is awesome Tom! Everyone wants a stupid wooden Palm Tree!" Needless to say, I never pursued Tom's dreams of having me sell SMC.  Was he insane?  Who wants this crap?  If everyone bought into selling stuff like this, who would buy it?  Sometimes I go places and see booths set up with SMC products, and think "oh dear..."
