musical IQ?

Bought a piano...yep, a piano.  For those of you who know me, you know that I am musically challenged.  I don't play piano and neither does Patrick.  We really really want Nick to play one.  Have been playing around with the piano acquisition in my brain for over a year and then decided just to do it!

Settled on a Baldwin Acrosonic Spinet Piano.  By no means the Yamaha I grew up with but perfect for learning and for someone that lives in a small house.  Was offered a free giant antique piano but "wise" me declined.  Getting it to the house would not have been a problem as it is a couple blocks away, it was the "getting" into the house that was the problem.

Sometimes a change like this leads to a spinning tornado of chaotic fun.  Went to look at the piano after work. Threw some sweats on and my new festive Christmas socks and headed over with Nick.  Jessica, a petite well dressed music teacher, was selling the Piano.  That means that I spent the next 30 minutes chasing a laughing Nick around her house in my sweats.  It was like inviting Godzilla and a tiny minion to visit.  After arriving back home I realized the Piano needed to go on an inside wall.  During Armistice day the chaotic tornado sucked the living room and dining room up and changed most things.  Now we have an inner wall.
