Most importantly "larger problem in U.S. higher education: universities being run more like corporations than educational institutions, with students viewed as consumers who come for a degree and move on."
Lindsay McCluskey you are awesome. Basically: If you whine and sniffle about your students just not getting ahead and neglecting to display high levels of intellectual achievement....maybe one of the problems lies in how your managing your educational system.
