The last couple weeks just about everyone and their dog have been focused on the Royal Wedding. Regretfully, all these people apparently have television shows. From what the Royal Wedding attendees will be eating to how they zip up their trousers or floss their teeth. Part of visiting the realm of the Royals is to revisit previous Royal Weddings.
Eons ago I remember being enthralled by Princess Diana's wedding. I got up early to watch it and hover by the television. Briefly, I stepped away from my general thought process that it would be lovely to be an unwashed explorer stumbling through remote points on the globe to visit the mental realm of the possibility of being a Princess. This only lasted briefly and I went back to digging worms in the garden. As Princess Diana's wedding is recapped, repeatedly, I have discovered that I find it, well, rather unrealistic, boring, and dull.
Bored now...bored with the previous weddings and the forthcoming nuptials. My boredom is driven by the fact that my life is so awesomely amazing that it overshadows the royals lives. Sure they have pomp, circumstance, fancy hats, and front row seats at Football (Soccer) games but really, is it really worth it? I can dig worms out of my garden without hundreds of onlookers, photographs taken, and major media concerning my actions.
