Read the following article in salon.com yesterday "Extremist pastor signs on to Perry prayer event" and my tiny over educated brain threw its pissy switch. Particularly were "Wagner's explanation for the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, in which he blames paganism for the nation's "decline."
In this passage from his book "Hard-Core Idolatry: Facing the Facts," Wagner praises the burning of Catholic saints, copies of the Book of Mormon, voodoo dolls, and other "idols." What are you living the dark ages idiot boy? Lets see...Pat Robertson blamed Haiti for selling their soul to the devil, Iran Clerics said promiscuous woman were causing earthquakes, and now this? Really?!
Then Doris, Wagner's lovely wife, headed to Argentina to help with some spiritual housecleaning...."

Foreign souvenirs?! Are you guys desperate? Doris was reading scripture and Holy Spirit told her that in Resistencia they must burn the idols, like the magicians did in Ephesus. When you consider it, the old testament is filled with lots of nice bits: castration, chopping up of a concubine, rape, and the annihilation of various tribes. Hopefully Doris doesn't get any memos about these.
