Adopted a kitten a few weeks ago. Could not get Dr. Bunny and her to to sing Kumbaya together. Dr. Bunny is far more territorial then we realized and has lots of issues anyway. sigh...this documents the first time in my adult life I have sent an animal away. When I was younger, we had several parakeets we left in various locations when we moved. As Isis's calls them...potential snack 1, 2, 3, and so on...
Felt like I was deserting a child. Boom-Boom is such an excellent kitten! I did place her in a good home, were they will spay her and give her lots of love. Much easier to place a tiny adorable snuggly kitten, then an older territorial "stuck in her ways" cat. On the plus side, I can go visit the tiny package of kitten adorable anytime....road trip!
