Lifetime....Fail!

Apparently Bristol Palin has not completed her media circus run, saw a commercial the other day for "Life's a Tripp: Bristol Palin."  Well didn't really see it, stopped the DVR and had to zip back to it.  I was like, "dear god what is that?"  So far she has been like a bug on my radar.  Now she has another Palin inspired show on Lifetime?  Obviously I don't watch Lifetime much, or I probably would have known about this new Palin manifestation.  I could try to care but can't, Bristol has claimed her book was a bestseller, when only 15,000 of them sold?!  Wow Bristol, that ain't a lot.  Currently I don't personally know a single person who has purchased and read your book.  Trust me when I say, some of my friends read super amounts of rubbish.    The reviewers have me believing the show is entranced with mythological fiction based drama...

"There are staged conversations during which one idly examines one’s split ends while the other person is talking. There is the furnished Beverly Hills mansion, redolent in its “Bachelorette” and Simpson-Lachey decor, smelling faintly of failed enterprises, pool chlorine and compromised souls."

"Even Briston Palin’s already well-documented exchange with a boorish heckler can’t save her new reality show, “Life’s a Tripp.”"

Geez, if I wanted to watch this crap, I would watch reruns of The Hills on MTV...on the plus side Levi Johnston will get to see his offspring.  So maybe someone will be watching.

Read about it here and here and here

(If you are having difficulty with the 15,000 number and think...gosh that is a lot.  Wrong.  As of 2012, the Hunger Games Trilogy has sold 36.5 million copies.  Now dudes, that is a bestseller...)
