So it begins...

The weather finally turned nasty today. Windy, cold, snowy...thus we are now basking in the blissful bosom of another ND winter. Am hoping it is not as hellish as last year. When I say "hellish" I am referring to Valhalla, not the hot hell of the Christian faiths. If it was warmer around here, I would not spend a majority of the winter months considering running away to the southern realms. Though I do admit, when I lived in the southern realms I missed the winter blast.

My biggest winter fear this year is driving with Nicholas in the car. He goes to the sitters several days a week and though it is not far and I am completely confident in my own winter driving skills, I fear the other drivers who seem to think that going faster while talking on their cell phones and running lights...stop signs...is a great idea. On the positive side, I no longer live on the other side of the river in Mandan. Crossing bridges several times a day without baby during the winter was frequently several change of panty trip. The thought of having baby in car sends little chills of fear down my spine.

Thank goodness for Patrick who said "I won't live in Mandan!" I went, ok, sounds good to me :-)
