As I mentioned in a previous blog posting, we have a bit of a rodent problem...What is your Kitten IQ? I figured Isis, the bringing of apocalypse to all that lives in the outer realms, would banish the rodent to her tummy...well at least portions of it, ok she is really into chewing the heads off. So far the mouse is still on the lamb and Dr. Bunny has taken up to deconstructing the house one piece at a time (note the picture).
Last night, Patrick noted that the cats had been very focused on the movable dishwasher and I might want to have a look see. Which I did, there were little mouse gifts under it but no mouse. I decided to clean off the top of the dishwasher. There was a bag of potatoes, a bag of rice, and some plastic ware. A basic general, if you don't know were to put it, put it here sort of thing. There also were some hand towels. I moved the hand towels and heard a plop. I thoughts to myself...what did I drop? I looked down just in time to see a nice long tail vanish under the cupboards. Great! The mouse was in the rice! So I washed the hand towels after I located the sleeping cats and drug them to the kitchen were they looked around in annoyance because I woke them and raced back to sleep.
So today, I am getting traps. It is either that or let Bunny complete her deconstruction of the house and in -50 degree temps, not the best idea.
