Tiny 5 am singing

Woke up this morning to singing. I was lying in bed and thought maybe the stereo was on being that our alarm clock does not have a musical number selection. Sounded like distant singing, kinda of like a far off radio. You know, the sort of if you listen to it hard enough you will start singing yourself to the tune being played. No radio it was. Nicholas was in his crib singing at 5am. SINGING!? What is with Mr. Happy Pants at 5am?

I guess the singing does make sense. Daddy sung to him while Nick hung about in my gut for 9 months. Now he gets sung to all the time, everything from music about to the tip of his toes to the Rolling Stones.

People always ask me, is he up all night? Is he colicky? Is he difficult? I am like, no...is he supposed to be? Before I gave birth I heard these baby horror stories. On a whole, our little Nick seems to be a very good baby, though I have nothing really to compare him with. I mean, any kid that wakes you up at 5am singing instead of crying...yea...I will take any day!

Nick is going to be Rock God like his dear old dad.
