picking boogies...

There are many aspects to having a child that one does not consider until that small adorable poop giving infant is thrust into your arms at the hospital.  Yesterday, I was getting ready for work and to take Nick to Jenny's.  He was sound asleep in his cozy crib and I noted he had a nose boogie, about the size of a small woolly mammoth, emerging from his tiny right nostril.  So I quickly scooped the new found life form out and into a tissue and I realized I had jumped that barrier into motherhood, picking a boogie out of somebodies nose other then yours either makes you a freak or a mommy.
