Recently, I ran across an amazing book The Family (published in 1974) it has some wonderous sections entitled...
- Head of the House - which has a male looking rather thoughtful about his future leading of his family.
- Homemaker - Has a female Nurse, who also goes home to take care of the house and show her small child how to decorate a cake.
This all amuses me, as neither of these hold water in our house. The day I come home from work and teach Nick to decorate a cake, is a day Hell hath frozen over!The best bit though was the Packaged honeymoons in the Poconos.....wow, Patrick didn't take me there, I am feeling so deprived. Check these photos out! They are just kinda of creepy. It does not seem to me that it is romantic, just serious street level drugs are being done. Scary! It is like Retro Tacky!
