This weekend, we planted things. Flower seeds, tomato plants, and threw in a couple pepper plants to add spice to the mix. I sat Nicky in the yard with me, armed with his toy gardening tools, Daddy gave him some dirt and grass in a bucket. Nick's greatest hobby is to stick everything in his mouth, which of course he did with the dirt most promptly. My first reaction was to jump and up and say "no baby!" and then clean him up. Then I realized, this sort of behavior does not permit Nick explore his surroundings. So I sat back, as he spat out the dirt, and stared at with a strange expression. Apparently it did not taste like peaches...
