Was out cruising the tubes trying determine just how screwed we are with the Gulf of Mexico oil leak and I found this, a response to BP’s Containment Dome Failed. Can Garbage Injections Stop up the Leaks? on Discover. Apparently they are going to inject garbage into the leak...though the information about "BP injecting garbage into the leaking area with a so-called “junk shot” made of tires, golf balls, and other debris, Suttles says it’s possible to plug up the leak." is highly entertaining, a comment at the end of the article caught my attention. Oh mysterious M, you are amazing!
