weird things happen..

about a week ago I reported that the Mighty Max had a Cherry Eye.   Have been busy putting medicine on it several times a day as it was infected and attempting to bring the swelling down.  It looked like it was getting better.  Yesterday morning Patrick noticed that Max was rubbing his head in the yard really hard.  By the time Max came in there was blood on the left side of his head above his eye and the cherry thing was gone.  Also we could see his eye!  After some examining and cleaning off the goo we determined there was a hole, whatever it was, was not a Cherry Eye, it exploded out the top of his head and drained.  Curious, curious indeed.  Now other then some drainage, he appears to be fine.  This has just been way to odd!
