Nancy Grace Freaks me out...

I don't traditionally watch Nancy Grace, she is not very nice to look at...somewhat hideous, she is very loud, and abusive verbally.  Her very presence on the tube offends me.  Last night I flipped on the TV and apparently had been watching something on the same channel a day or so ago, so it promptly delivered Nancy Grace's show to my brain.  She was not on, but had a sit in.  The sit in was nice to look at and not verbally abusive, so I paused before I used the remote to escape to another channel.  Breaking News: Somali Woman Locks 5 Children In Closet, 2 Found Dead!  Sweet Crap, I thought!  Slightly paranoid, I snuggled Nick tighter.

"INDIANAPOLIS (CBS/AP) A Somali woman claims she "was not in her right mind" when she allegedly locked her five children inside a closet before leaving to visit a friend. Ten hours later she returned to find her 3-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter dead inside.
An Indianapolis police report released Tuesday said 28-year-old Edyan Farah allegedly put her five children in an upstairs closet, approximately 6 feet long and 18 inches deep, around 6:00 a.m. Sunday and barricaded the door with a large bed so the children could not escape.
When Farah returned home about 10 1/2 hours later and opened the closet she found her 5-year-old daughter, Zuhur, and 3-year-old son, Zakariya, "stiff and unresponsive," according to the report."

Based on the woman's appearance, there are some serious issues, prior to locking the children to closet.  These sorts of things make me weep.  Prior to having a child, I was bit more callous, always deeply appalled but now since I have had a baby, it seems like I am somehow mentally connected to the children in the closet.  These sort of news stories really put me on edge....
