Buffy without Joss?

Apparently a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie is in the works.  In "their" infinite wisdom, they are making it without Joss Whedon....really?  Buffy with out Joss...that is like...

• Cookies without Milk
• Simon with out Garkunkel
• Me without my thermal undies in the winter

Right now, I am kinda of split.  I love Buffy but am pretty certain without Joss's brilliance, the movie will be a lack-of-luster has been wash-out.  Now I will play the "we will see" game.
